Columbia won seven of 10 bouts and posted a 24-9 win over visiting Binghamton wrestling (1-6) Friday night at University Gym.
Juniors David White (125), Tyler Deuel (Hwt) and senior Cody Reed (197) all won their matches for the Bearcats.
White (pictured to the left) opened the evening with a 6-2 decision, pushing his overall
record to 14-6. The Columbia Lions won seven straight bouts to
secure the match before Reed and Deuel won the final two contests. Reed
posted a 2-1 decision at 197 to bring his season record to 14-8. Deuel
continued his winning ways with a 10-3 decision at heavyweight. He is now 5-2 in duals, 16-5 overall.
